Grapes: 70% Nero d’Avola, 30% Syrah. Nero d'Avola and Syrah are fermented separately at a controlled temperature of 25-28°C and then blended and aged in new French oak barriques for 16 months.
Color: Intense ruby red with hints of violet.
Bouquet: Complex and sweet with fruity hints of ripe cherries and wild berries; notes of coffee and chocolate.
Flavor: Rich and full-bodied with good structure and concise tannins that balance its depth and concentration; aftertaste of aged balsamic.
Balsamic glazed lamb chops, braised beef, and traditional Sicilian dishes, such as prosciutto stuffed arancini and moderately aged cheeses.
